My reservoir of freshwater is above my sump. I plan to purchase the system but wanted to know if water will siphon into my sump when the pump is not turned on.
Yes, it is recomended to pump to the main tank and put the sensors in the sump for this reason. Or if this cannot be done have the hose pump into an open "gutter" higher than the resivior like a piece of PVC.
