will this temp controller work?

so im researching equipment for my current build and decided I would go with a standalone temp controller and was wondering if this one would work with an ehiem jager

I ran one of those for a couple of months. It will do the job of managing your heater. After a couple of months, mine started to get a little iffy with the accuracy and I replaced with a Ranco. Save a step and just get the Ranco for a little more $.

Which Ranco did you get? My thermostat on my chiller isn't working so i'm thinking of adding a seperate temp controller.

ETC-111000-000 will operate the chiller or a heater

ETC-211000-000 will operate the chiller and heaters... or heaters and fans.

Ranco or don't bother, unless of course you go with a full controller such as an Apex, Archon, Profilux, etc. The Ranco is virtually bulletproof.

I agree. I use it to heat my vat of RO/DI water but I use Profilux(s) for my tanks.

So Ranco and AquaLogic are obviously the same thing except Ranco is like half the price. Is that because AquaLogic is made in USA?
