If i get some phosphate removal media and put it in a nylong bag will that work to lower the phosphate levels in my tank? or does the media only work if its in a phosphate reactor..?

I don't have much room on the back of my 29gal to put a phosban reactor or anything like that...but i was thinking maybe i could just put the media in my filter....?

will that work?!

that will work just fine just make sure the flow is going though it and not around it.

Notas well as a reactor, but in the filter will do fine.
