Will Tuxedo Urchins Eat Macro Algae?

What exactly will tuxedo urchins eat? I know they'll eat coralline and other types of microalgae, but will they mow down caulerpa or the larger red algae? Also, will they eat sponges, pods, asterinas and such if given the chance?

Wish I could help you more on the eat'n part but they will move frags that are not attached and for the Caulerpa they might just spread it around and make a mess.

I for one would not bother to get (Tuxedo) one again. Just was unhappy

They will move stuff around if it's not glued down. They eat pretty much most algeas that I know of. You can also feed them urchin cookies, bought or homemade. here's a recipe for homade ones, I cut the recipe in half http://www.stanford.edu/group/Urchin/cookie.html
