Wireless cooling fans?

Is there such a thing, that could be controlled by my Apex?

I have recently switched back to MH from LED and would like to install a couple cooling fans that will turn on when the tank temp reaches a certain point. Because my sump is in the basement as is the Apex controller, I need to have the fans receive a wireless signal to turn on.

An alternative would be a fan that has a temp probe for the tank and turns on based on that.

Hmmm... i know Profilux has a fan system but I don't know of anything off hand for Apex.

I assume you already thought about running fans over your sump?

Not sure running over the sump would help. Thinking blowing across the DT would push out the hot air from the MH lighting, i.e, cooling the air between the lights and the tank.

Try it and see - evaporation will do a lot more for cooling than moving the hot air. I'm pretty sure heat transfer from metal halides is predominantly radiant rather than conductive/convective
