hi all i am retro fitting a coralife PC dual ballast into my custom canopy...

my Coralife fixture came with two PC bulbs and two ballasts:

Ballast details are as follows:
FULHAM
model No. FEPWH-120-135 T-5
one or two T-5 lamps
Combined Wattage upto 35W max
ELECTRONIC

Input 120V AC 60 Hz
Open current voltage 300V
Line current .05A
EMI meets FCC part 188
Sound rating A
Class P
type Type 1
Instant start
Min. start temp. 0*

When operating one lamp, Insulate One red lead from ground and all other leads
Ground ballast and mount lamps within 1/2" of grounded metal reflector

and there is a pic of the wiring diagram on the ballast...

my question is; i am only going to use one of the ballasts, for one PC bulb right now (Actinic). because that is all that will fit in my canopy..

could someone please draw out or explain to me what the heck the instructions on the ballast mean...

i currently have the old coralife PC end cap wired to the ballast as it came out of the old fixture, both red wires go to one side of the PC bulb and the yellow wire is split and runs to the other side of the PC bulb, the only thing that was grounded in the old set up was the reflector..

Am i fine to just put this back in exactly as it came out of the Coralife fixture, but only using the one ballast and bulb? from what i can tell the ballasts were only linked together to share the ground to the reflector. each ballast had its own plug for power.
