im starting to think its my tomato clown that is doing it but not sure becouse all the other fish he leaves alone but the warsee was eatin in half idk are tomato clowns that agressive and i might add that the warsee was swiming all day were the clown likes to sleep and stay at

all my leavles are zero so i know its no a water problem idk but my bangii cardnail looks stressed idk why ima keep watching ... all other fish are fine so idk ima just keep watchen the bangiii

i don't know hw long your tank has been set up but i know i had mine up wth just sand and live rock for almost a month and a half before i added fish or anything... you also want to add stuff to your tank slowly... too fast and it is too much of a shock for the system... plus the beneficial bacteria that convert amonia into nitrite into nitrate need to take hold in your tank... i don't know what the timeline for your tank has been but it seems to me you have been moving fast and this is a hobby you need patience in

the tank has been setup for 2 months and befor i got it 8 years with the same live rock and live sand i had no cycle when i waited a month to put fish in it now i have the fish and there all happy except the wrasse which im sad about and the cardnail but the bangii was also a wild caught to so idk if that has to do with it but everything in the sense of bactria is fine im thinking its the clown

well that is odd first thing i thought was maybe cause it is a young tank... i am baffled though... how did you acclimate the fish to the tank...

drip acclimate then floted to get the water to the same temp they were all fine swiming and everything im lost to on what happend maybe the clown did it maybe he was a bad one that was ready to go idk

not a fan of drip method i never lost a fish i float the bag for 15 mins and net the fish then put it in the tank. with my more expensive fish i did also add a small amount of water to the bag every 5 mins. but like i said i never lost a fish doing that and watch most lfs they don't use the drip method either.

We don't use the drip method it takes too long. We recommend floating for 15 min then add a small cup of water from your tank every 5 minutes for another 15min.

I am guessing your CUC was responsible for the fish being in two pieces, a dead fish doesn't last very long with hermits. It is strange though...wrasses usually can hold their own, especially against clowns and cardinals.

Agreed. Its a lot more likely that they dismantled him post humously rather than while he was alive. The 3 brittle stars I have in my tank consumed a 5" blue tang in 1 night. All I found of him was (literally) his skeleton. I left it in there...figured the calcium would leech back into the water (every once in a while I see a small rib bone in the substrate.) Efficient Clean up Crew anyway.
