Woke up to this derasa sideways.....

I just moved him from my basement to the upstairs tank. Both are about 81 degrees and i have NOT tested parameters but DO have sps and coralline growing, minimal to no micro algae issues etc.

Clam is sitting outside of the hot spot from my 24 up rapid led kit RB/CW.

Question - how does the bysuss(sp?) Area look? Clam was previously attached firmly before beginning to twist.


Thoughts or observations are appreciated.

I had them do that when they did not like the flow the were in. Mine would right themselves in a different direction in the flow.

I did bump the vortech up yesterday to stir stuff up. Bet that's it. Does the clam look healthy from this view otherwise? I feel like it's a rare opportunity to re examine now that it's been living in my DT

looks good to me. growth edge looks good, and even on his side mantel extension seems good.
