Woke Up To This

Woke up to a very deflated LTA today, a quick check of all the water parameters shows nothing out of the norm. 1. Is it too late for this guy. 2. What causes this? Thanks for any help

What are the actual numbers of the parameters.

Can you get a bigger picture? It is hard to tell what is going on with that shot. From time to time LTAs will deflate, but from that shot I can't tell if it is normal deflating or something else.

working on pitchers, here are the parameters

sg = 1.023
ph = 8.2
Alk= 2.6
No2 = .05
No3 = 20
Ammonia = 0
temp = 78

Just started my weekly water change so that should drop the nitrates down. Bot sure why the alk is a little high today.

I would try to raise the SG up to 1.026.

If the unit of measure of the Alk is meq/l then it is fine.

Shouldn't be getting a NO2 reading.

Have you fed it lately? It is perfectly normal for anemones to be deflated from time to time. This is how they sometimes go to the bathroom.

Hey guys thanks for the expert input!

1. I'm slowly going to raise the sg up 1.026 over the next few days (stating today with the water change)
2. Must have had a bad reading on the NO2, it now shows zero.
3. Feed the LTA two nights ago. Typically try and feed it every three to four days.
4. The 150 gal tank has been running for about three months. Most of the rock and sand where moved over from a 75 gallon tank. Along with most of the livestock, although the nem has only been in the tank for a couple of weeks.

I agree 8 - 12 months would have been much more ideal, but a friend had this in a nano and it was rapidly outgrown its space. So it came a little earlier then I was wanting. The good news it's looking a whole lot better this evening. Its not quit where it was, but looking good any how. Not sure if it was just doing its thing, or the water change helped it out? Either way I'm felling a lot better about it, once again thanks for all the great help.
