Wondering if it's okay before I do it

Is it okay to put 5 neon gobies into a 180G tank? Will they fight at all? I love these little guys and they are so useful to a tank. If I could put five in one 180G, I would.

Any advice?

Not sure about keeping them in groups... but I love mine. Everytime I put my hand in the tank, he cleans it for me.

I have a yellow gobie, blue gobie, and a red headed gobie in a 120 and they are all best friends and hang out together. I dont think it would be a problem if you added them all at the same time and there about the same size.

Neon Gobies readily breed in captivity, so i would think they will be quite happy grouped up in a 180g. I can never keep them in my tank. They always go straight to the overflow.

I have 3 in my 75G and they get along great! I did add them at the same time......so I don't know about adding more if you already have one or two that have picked their territory....you know how that goes.

Each one of mine has their own little chill spot......but they do hang out for a bit over the course of the day.

Well, I have one in there already, so I was thinking of adding four more. They take up no room and there are hundreds of little crevices for them, so even if they aren't friendly, I think they'll have plenty of space.
