Since I will have a shiney new tank I thought I would buy some shiney new sand.

Anyone have any input on this??

I use a white and black mix about 2:1 so I don't have the shine that you will have if you are going all black, but it is extremely shiny when you first put it in. It tends to dull out a little over time but again that may just be because I have a higher white content in my tank subduing the color of the black. I like it though. I have about 20# of it in a bucket if you want to see some I can bring a ziplock of it by this afternoon when I come to get the frag plugs.
