SWEET!

I just confirmed the other day with one of my instructors to do my checkout dives soon. Looks like July 12th and 13th are the magic days. I'm pumped!

I do wish they had done these in June, though, as I'm going to Pompano Beach this weekend and would LOVE to be able to go diving, but oh well! Maybe next time. I am still going to take my fins, mask, and snorkel though, just in case.

I'll let you guys know and maybe update with some pictures (not too sure how beautiful I'll be in a wetsuit since we're diving a quarry [quite the thermocline] ).

Unfortunately I may have to postpone my check out dives due to a lack of funding, but hopefully not. If nothing else I may have to do them in October (brrr!), but we'll see.

Maybe you should try and sell something to get the dives taken care of. I took up dive instruction to support my awful diving habit. I hope there is no cure!

Actually, my parents are supposed to be paying for this as a graduation present, but they recently split and now things are tight for both of them! Suckage!
