Going to drive out at 9AM to get my tank. Oh yeah baby 125Gal lovin. I am so giddy about it:rollface: I cant wait till the stand is all build so I can start adding goods to the tank.

I got a good deal on it cuz he had hit his all glass numbers for the month so it was only 329.99 for it and it is RR :)

I was there last saturday and was not impressed on the livestock selection. But if by chance they have a green or purple montipora would you pick it uo for me? :)

I would be careful with any corals from Hoffers. The last time I was there ( a month or two) they had a huge flatworm problem. I was checking out some cool looking live rock with a mauve/orange coralline algae on it when I was struck with a quote by John Rhys Davies from an Indy Jones movie. "Indy why does the floor move?" It wasn't coralline algae and "they" seemed to be in evry tank.
Dip, quarantine and monitor anything you get down there.

After some madness and them forgetting to order the tank I wanted I ended up getting a older 125 with the corner overflows with the oak looking frame. Cost me a bit more but I was already down there and did not want to drive back down there again to get the one I wanted when it gets there next week.

Right now its sitting on the floor waiting for the stand to get built.

I will be starting a new thread with the setup and pics when I start on it.

Rob

So they forgot to order it and then charged you more for an older one?
I bet that was a long drive home lol.

Was not the ol bait and switch very long story im sure we will talk about it at one of the meetings.

All that is really important is that im happy with what I got and how much it was and what ill be getting for the trouble it was for me.

Look forward to seeing the setup thread. Corner overflows should be a bit more unique than the typical center.
Will you be selling your current 40 gal or using it in your new system?

I will be selling my main 40 and most likely selling the 40 that is under it acting as the sump/fuge

I hope they threw in a little something for all your trouble... like some livestock...

I'm happy to hear the the aquarium gods have dranted you forgivness and allowed you to expand once again...

My door remains open for you and Stig... to stop in and we'll work out that closed loop thingy... Jessica is comming, but she'll have to bring a chaperone, due to the preditor that I am...with all my Robotech stuff and all.. (Thanks alot Jon, now I really am branded as a geek... But Bri-Guy can still catch me..)

Dang double post... I'll take this opertunity to remind the "hole group" that I will be unavailable after the 21st - I'm packing.

J

jm Make sure to pack those dolls... rr action figures with care... or are they still in the boxes... their worth more that way.. lol

If I could pick one up for a descent price, I would hold onto it until I am ready. My 10 gal Nano finished cycling last week. Long term, that tank is earmarked as a refuse for a larger tank. The wife already is buying into the Nano so the jump to a 30-40 shouldn't be a prob.
