worm eating on my anemone

Last night when the aquarium lights were off I turned on the room light and looked at my tank. I noticed a bristle worm eating at my GBTA. I am assuming it was bristle worm. It looked like a mini centipede. Has anyone ever seen this. I'm hoping this doesn't harm the anemone.

If its a bristle worm it was probablly eating something else or maybe dead flesh on the anemone. There are badd worms that look like centipedes.

unless the BTA is sick and dieing the worm should leave him alone. I would think that there was something on the GBTA that the worm was dining on. hopefully not harming him.

agreed with the above. the worm is able to detect dead/dying tissue well before we can, then they get blamed for the death.

Google eunicid worm and bristle worm... if it's a bristle, it's cleaning. If it's a eunicid, it's probably killing.

true. wasn't thinking about eunicids. Hopefully you're not dealing with that. See if this resembles what you're looking at [hopefully LOTS smaller]

definitely a bristle worm after looking at the pics. The nem looks good today, so I'm guessing it was being cleaned. Thanks for the replies
