What kind of worm is this? Should I remove it ASAP? Thanks.

Bristle worm.

If you don't want any in your tank, it creeps you out, or you just don't like it, remove it. Otherwise they are harmless and will eat detritus.

They are a bit creepy, but they are also good for clean up. I leave them in my tanks.
