worm or something wierd on my rock

i have this wierd thing on one of my rocks was wondering if anybody can tell me what it may be and if i should get rid of it. it looks like it puts out a spider web when it is catching food . and it has a brown shell can somebody help me out

Does the shell look like a tube? Google featherduster and see if it's that.

Sounds more like a vermatid snail. Harmless but if you have lots of them they can be unsightly.

i am pretty sure it is a harmless worm...or so i have been told about the one in my tank...the little fellow have two tenticles/ antenea off the top of its head, and what looks like a polyp at the end of the tube?
