I think I have bristol worms in my tank, I wanted to know when I see them if I should take them out. Ill describe to you of what I think is a bristol worm. It is 4/5 pink, with a lot of legs, and parallel the legs are a set of spikes. The nack 1/5 is black. Let me know. Thanks.

Most bristle worms are fine- they actually help clean up detritus and dead stuff on the bottom of the tank. If they seem to be eating corals, then I'd be more concerned. :)

Bristle worms are good for a tank. They get a bad wrap sometimes, but in my opinion if you find them eating something, then that something is either dead or dying. Other then that they make a good addition to a clean up crew.

My 2 cents.

The only bristle you really have to worry about is the fire worm and that aint yours. A FEW eunicids will eat corals, and even the occasional livestock, but most species are also just detrivores. Bristle are can be a real cool addition to a tank especially if they get big.
