Worm's 180 build

BTW... Do not think the video's are on the same date as the posts. They are from a while ago during the build process. I should have started this thread back then.

I was recording to document it all but not posting it.

Just read the thread from start to end! Wow you have really done it up nicely! I can't wait to see some more picture of the Livestock. Keep them coming.

Regarding the 120g..... I say make it a frag tank. A very large frag tank! Thanks for sharing all this info with us.

Thanks.. I just took some pictures today... I'll post them up maybe here in a few mintues (late night again)

I had a 1hr sit down with a friend that has been helping with the build... That is EXACTLY what we discussed. My issue is the 120 stand will not support any sort of sump. I would have to tie it to my new sump. And I do not have the growth room to add a second 40g to it.

SO.. I am kinda stuck with figuring out how to do it.. Now I am really looking for ideas.. I am sure I am just micro-thinknig it and not thinknig of something simple.

IDEAS??!!??

If I put it down there it will be less than 5 feet from it.

OK I made all my biuild out videos now public on my youtube page:

No new updates lately. Levels have been good.

Here is one pic, I need to get my camera back out and use that instead of my cell.

A few new videos:

Alll of these are in HD so it might be best to click on the youtube link and make it full screen. Also select the gear and make it HD. To prevent buffer just pause it for a bit. It really does look so much better in HD than at the low resolution.

8 hr time lapse (with classical music)

Time lapse of Anemone settling in after move to a different location and getting used to flow.

Center lower time lapse

Almost FTS time lapse (had to zoom in some as the whites of the sump blinded it too much)

19 minutes live recording of anemone doing it's thing

worm5406 - Things are coming along nicely. How big is that anemone when its fully opened? The clowns seem to be loving it.

@nightowl

It is over 12" left to right just on the base, not including the tentacles. So prob close to 18 left to right.

NOVA huh? I am down the street.

YES.. I know that green stuff is HA... It bloomed when I added my LR seed from my 120 back a while ago.

In the process of removing it. :o

worm5406 - Man that is huge. What part of MD are you in? I'm out near F&F.

UUgh....

I worked all weekend studding out a wall and putting up drywall. (along with normal household items) I am beat!

I'll put up some pictures tonight and a video.

Next is ceiling, paint, and then I will be done.

If you look at one of the early build videos you will see some of the wall left and right of the tank that is just studs. Just to give you a reference.

That one hell of a "build" you have going on there. Most of us are overwhelmed with the construction of our stand, and you have a entire room to put together.

BTW, hope you are feeling better. It took me down for a week!

Well some have uploaded and some failed, I will have to press retry. Here are two though:
