A few Months ago, I purchased some yellow polyps on a piece of rock. They were doing fantastically well until recently. The polyps all of a sudden began to slowly disappear. Then a few days ago, a discoverd some worms protruding from small holes in the rock and eating the polyps. The worms only come out after the lights have gone off. So far I have seen three worms. The largest one is a dark color with lighter markings. The two smaller ones are light colored with dark markings. Can anyone give me advice on how to get rid of these worms?

Eunucid worm. If this is what you have , manual removal is best before they get really large . will eat corals and fish.

Hey I looked at those links and those worms are huge!. The worms in my tank are much smaller, their bodies are a little larger than an arm of a smaller brittle star. maybe 1/8 or 1/16th of an inch thick. Their bodies are smooth and the dont look like bristleowrms at all.

All worms aren't bad, I have many which come out at night and are harmless. You said they were eating your polyps, do you have a picture?
