Worms.....on my Stylo

I've got a pink and green Stylophora. A couple of nights ago, I notice some black coloration on the back of it. I just asumed it was cyano from low flow or something. Last night I realized that its basically sitting in front of a maximod, so low flow wasnt the issue. I pried up the fragplug, and pulled it out. The black area looked almost like it was etched into the coral. It was definitely corroding. Around it were little brown worms, maybe a quarter inch long, hair thin, dark brown, looked segmented, but too small to tell.

I gave it an iodine dip, and it seemed to kill everything, but do we have another problem on our hands here?

YUK! I imagine that there are plenty of un-discovered pests out there that reefers will be dealing with for years to come. When you think about how much coral is in the ocean, you know theres gotta be alot more pests/parasites. The biodiversity of organisms in the ocean is freakin crazy.
