Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Hawaiian Feather Duster Worm from a LFS, acclimated slowly and correctly yet after ~30 hours it has not extended itself out of its tube.

-At the LFS it had to be "scraped" off of the glass as it had bonded itself
-When introducing to the tank for a brief (accidental) moment its body was partially out of the water and some support was lost.

Could air be trapped? Could its body have been broken during this event? Could the end of its tube have closed and thus is inhibiting it from extending? Or will it come out soon!!

Thank you all so much for reading/responding, keep it up.

i bought three dusters one time. two came out immediately, one stayed inside for a whole week!! thought he was dead, but came out and is thriving.

that's what i seem to be hearing.. good to know... it's just they aren't the type of animal you can easily see life or death in
