Worms!

I have spotted these slim, white wirms crawling around on my rock. They are about 1-1/2 inches long, have slight brown tips to them, and seem to be able to stretch to 2-3 inches though. They are not rooted to the spot. I have only seen 2 so far. No pics, sorry. Too small for my camera.
 
Sorry, without a picture that description is much too vague to narrow it down to a phylum let alone a species.... :D
 
Probably harmless. I have a bunch on my rock and I have been keeping a close eye on mine. They look almost like white hairs sticking out from my rock. They only come out at night or during feeding time.
 
Bristle worms I would guess. They can be a problem if left unchecked for to long. You can get traps to catch them or there are natural preditors such as crabs to keep them from getting out control.
 
Japanese wrasse or christmas wrasse are good to keep bristle worms in check. I don't mind bristle worms but I don't like having a whole tank full of them either. ;p
