worms?

When I came home from class this afternoon I saw what looked like a little hairy worm crawling on my cabbage leather. Half of it looked reddish brown and half of it was dark brown. Does anyone know what this is and if it is okay for it to be in my tank?

Bristleworm. Good guy. Detrivore. Most likely of the genus Eurythoe with the most common one being Eurythoe complanata.

Yeah, I second the worth of bristleworms. Granted, they can get pretty big, put on the whole, a good little cleaner.
