my eel justed puked up a few worms that look like earth worms but when you touch it, it collapses and turns into nothing does any body know what this is and how to treat it he eats and then he throws it all up and the grouper is doing the the thing with the food but no worms yet please help me

okay so now i have found some big specimens in my tank that look similar to a sea lamperey when they open up they look super evil i dopped some rally in there any other suggestions thx
will this ever end i am getting so frustrated with it

can you take a picture? also, are they smooth bodied or segmented? i'm not good with i.d.'ing worms but i treat with fenbendazole and praziquantel. best way is to deliver the meds orally (in food) but it sounds like they're not able to keep food down. praziquantel is readily available as hikari's prazi-pro, fenbendazole is a dog/cat dewormer also known as panacur. i get liquid fenbendazole from my vet or you could purchase from seahorsesource.com.

if they're not eating you may have to try immersion.

post a pic if you can, i can check noga when i get home tonight. this isn't the greatest site for worms but worth a quick look, maybe you can see if any are similar http://warnell.forestry.uga.edu/service/library/c0772/index.html

well the parasites got the best of all my fish and so did the garbage man cause they were to big to flush and so they are all dead and i am pretty ****ed and shocked i thought nothing could kill that eel but i was wrong but now i'll start a reef tank i guess i going to have to get some better lighting though
