Would a giga or squamosa outgrow a 250?

My tank is fairly new and is FOWLR right now, I'm just looking ahead to the future, when I can make a few changes. Eventually, I'd like to keep a tank with just a couple of really interesting specimens. Including a really big clam, and maybe a show-sized fish of some sort. My tank is 7 feet long, about 2 feet wide, and just under 3 feet tall. Would a giga or squamosa grow out of this set up? Would a large panther grouper be ok as a tankmate?

A full sized gigas will take up just about all of your tank and is probably not a good long term choice.

Depending on how much space you are willing to offer your Gigas, it will make a great addition to your tank for several years.

The Gigas do have the ability to grow to enormous sizes (48 to 50") but this will take years.

Large Deresa's and Squamosa's would be great as a large clam and they won't easily outgrow that size of a tank.
