would a Purple Pseudochromis be alright in my tank

They are cute when small but the bigger they get, well...

Here's mine:

I can't keep any kind of shrimp in this tank anymore, although hard to tell from this pic, but he's a real porker now.

My purple psuedochromis is named Lucie. Which is short for lucifer! She chases my 6-line wrasse all over the place. Lucie doesn't touch my tangs, shrimp, or clowns.

people are talking about 2 different purple pseudos in this thread. the orchid dotty and the strawberry dotty. both pics are of the more aggressive strawberry dotty.

I thought the strawberry was more red in color?

and that that purple psuedo, was actually different from the orchid dottyback. I was told they are very simular but not exactly the same. The psuedo is a very distinct thistle color but has shorter fins?. and the orchid has a bit more flowing fin? The orchid was also the more aggressive of the two?

I am no expert and I am very new, only 2 years, I see that you have 10 years experience. So I defer to your experience. But are you sure about this? The reputable dealer I go to is very well thought of since he has been in the business for many many years.
He has also patented a certain kind of revolving tank. I really trust his judgement, when it comes to the fish and the care. His store is imaculate.

No offense intended...

edited for spelling..

They definitely are two completely different species of fish, just as manderx says. Compare the ones in the pics above to the one that I have:

I think they are different fish. 3 different fish we are speaking of... The orchid dottyback, the strawberry dottyback, and the purple psudochromis. I was under the impression that the orchid dottyback looked like what you have in your pic and the purple psuedochromis looked like what i have in this pic
