Would a sea hare get stuck in the intake of a nanostream?

Hello, I have been thinking about getting a large seahare (approx. 5-6 inches) and besides the drain (I plan to use a sponge), there is a Tunze nanostream 1045 in the tub.

I don't know of any sponges that fit the nanostream. Would the pull be gentle enough or would the seahare get caught in it?
If not, does this mean I have to get a powerhead that has the sponge prefilter?

I had one and it died on my SEIO it was really discusting, but according to the shape of the nanostream I would say it would be difficult for the sea hare to develop interest or get caught by it.

Also I think they tend to go towards powerheads because sometimes they are covered by algae (I don't know if this is the reason) but if it is, then cleaning the powerhead reagularly would prevent this.
