i had a sohal,,,,one day it decided it didnt like my stallatus trigger, in less than 10 minutes the stellatus was rippped to shreds and died. the sohal was then given away, into a tank with a tough as nails clown trigger. 2 weeks later, the clown trigger was killed by serial killer sohal.
they tend to take over a tank. in nature they are a very active fish is strong currents. this requires lots of food. therefore they have to defend a large grazing territory. this is instinctive to them. in the wild this territory may be 10square meters or more.
I dont think Sohal's belong in this hobby. After see'ing them swimming on the reef crests of the red sea. It's cruel,they need so much swimming space. No wonder there so aggresive in captivity.
