The way my system is setup I would need for the sump lead to be more than 10ft due to my sump being in the basement. Do you have plans on making the water level alarm more Sump in Basement Friendly?

Thanks
John

I have custom made such units before, it is a big undertaking and you would need to be patient and I charge a $20 labor fee.

I thought I read in a prevoius post that you can only extend the cable length by 3 meters? If this is not the case then I would definatley be interested in modifying this unit. what is the process? Do I need to buy the unit from a vendor and ship to you? Thanks

PS

What exactly has to be done to the unit to extend the cable length? I'm assuming attuation is the key problem and the unit needs to be tweaked to increase signal strength. Is this a mod I can do myself? Thanks

3m is 10ft so that gives you 20ft total. All I have to do is get more of the same wire from tunze, unsolder the floats, solder in an extension and add solder the floats back to the extension and use shrink wrap. You could do it but it would have no warranty, if I do it you keep your warranty. Just order it and specify the custom length cables from a dealer. It will take about 4 weeks as I need a couple weeks to get the cable.

I'm such an idiot!!! I was thinking 3 feet not 3 meters. Sorry about that. I will order from a dealer. What is the totally cost above normal price? It's actually the tank lead that I want lengthen as I will be putting the main unit in my basement near the sump.

Thanks

If you just want one lengthened I'll do it for $10 total over the unit cost.
