Well, for the new idea we've bene talking about, the minimum, IMO, would be a 20 gallon. Preferably larger though.
For a 20 gallon, 10 or less dwarfs would work, and you pretty much just seed with tigger pods, and let them build up a really nice population, and let the tank mature for a good 2 months or so.
The pods, we are hoping, will be able to sustain their population, and we won't have to feed bbs any more (unless the pod population crashes, or cannot sustain itself).
