Would you buy from this LFS?

I went to a nice store. It had some aipstatia. However their filtration was per column 3 tanks high. So there was a little in each tank. However guess what stock those tanks held? Copper Band Butterflies, Filefish and then Peppermint Shrimp. They had peppermint and copperbands elsewhere too. It was nice to see them set up in a proactive way.

I went to a store that called it the biggest and best in the state. It had a nice feature in the store, a couch and coffee table in front of a large tank. It's floor display had some used equipment and tanks, and new stuff, didn't look well stocked or ordered in general. Then over 100 tanks of fish. Tons of bubble algae and aipstatia all over the place. It has a bunch of employees onsite. I would never buy there since they didn't seem to care about the pest in the tanks.

Theres a LFS just like that 1 mile from my house that looks just like that and its so sad i would love to shop there but its disgusting so i go 15 miles to a CLEAN store the owner cares and the place is always packed with people its not unusual to wait 45 min to be helped but worth it

I would not buy from that store. I have a couple of LFS near me that are in the similar condition and I do not frequent them. Dry goods maybe but not fish or corals. I drive 2 hours to get to a quality LFS.

If the frags look good, I have no issues buying from them - I already have bubble and aptasia anyhow  I think newbies worry waaaay to much about these things.
