This morning I think my week old half black angel took a bite out of my true perc. Under his right fin there is a gash large enough to have some meat hanging out. I pulled him out and put him in a quarantine tank, and did a 10% water change in my tank. My corals have closed up. Is their anything more I can do? All my Paramaters look good also.

Your corals probably closed in reaction to the upset of pulling him out---or if he has an anemone, a p/oed anemone can certainly do that.

He should heal fine, barring infection. Watch the wound carefully, and use an anti-bacterial if it shows signs of redness/infection. I always trust nature to take care of wounds, personally, because there is no way to apply a bactericide topically on a fish: you have to bathe him in it, and this is rough on the fish.

In the meantime you have to decide whether you want a clownfish or an angel, alas, if you're reasonably sure what happened. The next time might not be good.

I don't know. I once had a Niger Trigger take a bite out of my false perc and the wound ended up killing the clown that night. How big is the clown btw?
