Wow Albquerque reefers!!

Wow I finally found some albuquerque reefers!!! Yey.

Do you guys get together often for frag swaps and such? If so I would love to come.

I have a 75 and a 24 nano.

The 75 has been set up for 2 years now. I have many things that I can frag out and trade.

I have zoo's, frog spawn, rics, green mushrooms, montipora plate coral, Acropora, Hydnophora. All corals have been in my system for 1 year + health guaranteed.

Currently under 2- 250 watt mh's 10k and 120 watts of Vho.

Hey there ... Glad you found us!

We get together once a month for a club meeting on the third Friday. So although it hasn't officially been announced, the next club meeting should be on Feb 16th.

In addition to the forum here on RC, we've got the official club website over at http://www.nmoceankeepers.com. There's a forum set up over there too, but it seems like most of the traffic is here on RC.

Make sure you sign up over on the club website to be notified of the meeting time/place!

And feel free to post up some pictures of your tanks. I'd love to see them ...

Welcome, Rabidfrog!

I am new to the hobby, but have been to many of the meetings of NMOK. I can assure you that you will find many Rabid-reefers here in ABQ.

NMOK meetings involve frag-swapping, but you can note on this site that some simply can't wait or can't always make the meetings!

If you are looking for specific frags or trades, post them here and you just might get a hit!

Hope to hear more from you on the other posts...have you considered the nano-build off with your experience?? See you on that post, if so!

I checked out the nano build off post. I have a 1 gal pico, that is empty atm. But I do not have receipts for the tank or the equip. Its old and i didnt hang onto them.

But i am going to set it up anyways I guess I could just play along with everyone excluding myself out as a qualifier.

Cool!!! Im not in Abuquerque, but I didnt know New Mexico had a reef club at all!! Im in Carlsbad, LOL. Ive been wanting to go to the Lubbock meetings becaue they are closer, but I dont mind making a trip to Albuqerque every now and then. Ive only been the Salt hobbie for 2 years, but I love talking reef, so count me in.
