Wow...

I think once they are eating frozen it's more fun. I'm not a chef by any means, but I can try to feel like one when I shred a lobster tail, or slice 'n dice a salmon and lightly douse with Selcon :D
Just make sure the Ghosties are getting good quality foods... or else they're about as nutritious as McDonald's french fries...

I gut load all the Ghosties at my store, and then again when I bring them home.
I ordered a new guy from DD, but I don't want to mix him with these guys, so I made a little acclimation box to hold him for a little while until I can set up my next tank (is a 10g). I'm just about to place my order for it... :)

Okay, my new little guy arrived from DD today, and I got my rock from Richard today (15lbs). I had to set up the tank all today in a few hours, I had to quickly paint some sides black, set the sand and water up, get the rock, blah blah blah. I don't have a light yet, so I can't really tell how my scape looks yet, but it sure is colorful! I'll see if I can get a picture with flash when it settles down a little bit.

Long time, no post. :eek2:

This tank has been on cruise control, nothing has been added but some zooanthids. I've been busy with a (failed) experiment, and my 10g (post below)...

10g TBS tank. Started a few weeks ago. Has a Red Fin Waspfish and a pair of Coral Crouchers, both from Diver's Den. 15ish pounds of rock, running the Marineland Reef Capable LEDs.

So jealous of those zoas.. I was in Washington for a week last week, and I went crazy on frags. The prices of corals in Seattle are so much cheaper than here. Of course, I didn't have room for more than 5 corals to take on the plane :(
That close up pic of the Leaf is awesome. I see a certain somebody is stepping on him in it..lol

Is that a Batfish? Those things get huuuge. Failed? He not make it?

FTS of both tanks? Coral crouchers are so awesome.

No, the batfish didn't make it. Someone beat the crap out of it, but I didn't see any aggression towards him so I have no idea who did it. :/

I'll clean the glass and get a fts when the lights come one.

I would do a search on eBay of 'live corals'. I've gotten a few frags from there, all captive grown frags of usually nice /cheapish/ zoos and whatnot... Shipping depending on where you are located can be fairly cheap aswell.

I've looked into corals off eBay. All of the shipping is 50 bucks, and I've sat and watched zoanthids go from $14.00 to $30.00 in the very last second. So expensive o.0

I'd say like 90% of the sellers on eBay are either from California or Fl, and I try to buy from other people on Fl. so shipping isn't more than $10. :rolleye1:

Strange... I can't find any for less than at LEAST $30..Unless I'm reading something wrong. I'm also a couple states up from you, Alex.

I've heard too many horror stories about Mr Coral.. I've very cheap with my money, and I've lost corals before that where fresh frags. I do like the selection on there, though.

Have some pictures of the 10g fish and some new corals. The first three corals I took home from my LFS, the last two are from Coral Morphologic. I have a fish arriving Friday from Pacific Island Aquatics, will attach a picture. I recommend both companies 110%.

I had just moved these two before I took the pictures, so they aren't as open as they should be. The zoos aren't as yellow as they look in this picture.

I know, but I need a 'showcase' fish for this tank. I'm tired of all the 'why don't you have any fish?' for this tank. One coral croucher is much braver than the other, but as long as I see one I'm happy. I am happy to get a colored one though. :]
