Wrasse and mandarin?

So I had a red scooter in my tank for a year and over the last month I haven't seen him, so I've come to the conclusion he is no longer there. I would like to replace him with a green mandarin, but would also like to add a wrasse of some sort to the tank. I assume they would both be ok with plenty to eat.

The tank is a 125 heavily stocked tank that has been running for over a year and a half, 40 gallon sump, and a 60 gallon frag tank in the same system. I have copepods crawling over everything. I know the mandarin will work on those but I'm thinking the wrasse will work on anything else that I may have that my sps/lps may not like.

I am open to any suggestions as I know very little about wrasses.

what do you mean aren't pickers? I want the wrasse to pick at bugs and get rid of anything bad for the system.

I have a yellow coris wrasse and it gets along fine.

Also it is a nice flash of yellow when he is swimming around.

even though it may seem like you have alot of pods, manderins and scooters and halichorus and such species, cruise all day searching for food and would quickly demolish any pod population so having 2 species that are doing the same thing unless you get the manderin to eat frozen could end up in it starving to death
