Wrasse hiding deep inside live rock

I just picked up a mccosker flasher wrasse thing week and I know wrasse usually sleep within live rock. But my wrasse gets deeper and deeper a into a 25+ pounds live rock I have and I'm getting increasingly worried that he's going to become stuck inside it. Right now he's asleep inside the rock about 5inches in and I can't even see where he swam in at to get to his position. Is this something to worry about? Will he be able to get himself out? Anything I can do to make him not go deep into the rock? Opinions appreciated.

nope, not a thing you can do. if he can get in, he'll be able to get out. i wouldn't worry about it. he'll become more sociable as time goes on. my yellow coris wrasse hid in the sand for TWO MONTHS before he finally decided to come out.

Wrasses are great at hiding. Its hilarious how they can get into tiny cracks. Its more of a worry with them going carpet surfing rather than getting stuck in rock.
