Both are awesome fish. Nice picture quality too.

albano i would stay away from the whipfin especially if you have fairy's & flashers in your tank they are super aggresive i have tried one & never again he attacked every wrasse i had in tank as soon as he hit the water never seen anything like that in my life & the scotts is a risk everyone that i know that had one only had problems with them i have a 5inch australian right now in a 300 with some very large halichoeres species & he shows heavy aggression towards them so beware with them

That's exactly my experience with whipfins, I wouldn't risk it again...I guess it's just 'wishful thinking' for the Scotts...really like them, especially Cook Island Scotts, but no use risking all my other wrasses.
Thanks for chiming in!

I have my supermale whipfins for a while now, just sold the other male the other day because they constantly chasing with each for years. Now by himself,
he flash to the anthias but never bother anyone even my new flame wrasse trio.

My new Scott's fairy wrasse are getting chase by my lineatus just like the last one. I think Scott's fairy are the gentle giant in my tank just like the blonde naso.

the bullies in the tank is still the changing lyretail male anthias 10x worst the the bartletts since It Already killed a large carlsoni and red bar anthias

And the most aggressive wrasse is the red velvet but I gave him away yesterday.I am getting a very large supermale lineatus and Scott's this weekend let see what happen.

I have a pair of Mauritius flashers , earlei pair , roseband male , kwazulu male

Yurivd, would love to see pictures of your Mauritius pair.

I love my yellow corisse, his red is becoming a little more pronounced on its fins. Almost three years old! Social, beautiful, and a very docile tankmate to my surprise. I had my tank open top for a while and it never abandoned ship.

My next purchase for my next Wrasse would be a mystery.

Blue Star Wrasse

Blue Star Wrasse

Fun playful wrasse, very gentle and always has his own time. Woke up early and went to bed early too ( while the other fishes still play around and lights still on ) , he is still thinking he is inAfrica time zone ....

Looks like a pink-streak (pseudocheilinus ataenia), from what I can see.

I really like my little ol' sixline. They get a bad rap but mine is a model citizen and has so much personality. I've had fairy wrasses and a yellow coris wrasse in the past and they are all great but I think the sixline is equally exquisite.
