Wrasse Video

Here's another video I did highlighting the different wrasses I have. I just figured out how to do some basic video editting so I had to do another video. This would also explain why its not a Spielberg quality, but I think I got a shot of each of my different wrasses in this video.

Man.. its a quick transition between wrasses thats for sure. Nice fish as always.

Maybe something to think about? Could you put a background up temporarily during pictures or vids? Might make the fish stand out even more. Like a black or blue painted styrofoam piece that could be easily put up and removed. The cheapo backgrounds at the LFS are okay but often glare and don't put up evenly.

Some fish are less cooperative than others when it comes to getting a longer shot of them. I like the idea of the background, especially on the 240. I shot nearly 40 minutes of off and on video to get a lousy 3 minutes of somewhat usable video for this. Some fish I could make a 30 minute video of since they seem to like the camera. It took a couple hours for my unskilled editting to make this. In my mind I wanted a video that had about 5-7 seconds of each wrasse nicely posing, maybe flashing some so I could put up the names of each wrasse with the picture. Thats the next video I will be working on.

Cool! I think its awesome how much you are showing off these fish. At the very least we get some captive footage and shots of fish we would otherwise never see! You are lucky to own them.
