Wrong impellor cover on my 6201?

Roger I just bought a 6201 and magnet from Salty Critter and the impellor cover on it has a smaller opening on it then my other 6201. Is it possible that they put the wrong cover on it at the factory or did they change them?

You can see the top one is bigger then the bottom pic. I checked the back of the pump and it says 6201.

looks to me like the 6101 cover.

That's what I was thinking as well. There's a huge difference in how the water is coming out of each pump. It's too turbulent with the smaller cover.

Roger, would it "hurt" the performance of my 6100's if I were to get the 6200 covers for them ? I'm looking to get the wider flow. Not highjacking Mike, just thought I'd get in while youre here.

I won't hurt the performance if you don't mind the wider flow

Basically the flow reach is shorter but it is wider so instead of roughly 84 by 24" flow pattern it is 60 by 30"
