I bought 2 of them the other day

disclaimer.. unfortunatly the wife woke me up from my dream so fed x never got them to me

Get back to your dream then come back to post some pictures.

I was offered one in April for $1200. It was 5.5" and was reportedly eating brine. I passed at the time because I did not have the scratch, the price seemed too good to be true, and I did not have a chiller to get my temps down to around 70-72 degrees. I do remember the last time DD offered a wrought iron and I think it went for $1800 and lasted only minutes.

looks like the recession has not affected the purchasing of fish for ridiculous amounts of money.

I have seen these in person. They are cool, but not worth the price. I would rather have a Conspic or an Interruptus.

:eek1: I can't understand how people can drop that much money on a fish. Yeah, it's an unusual and pretty fish...I just can't justify the cost.

It's all relative. Some people drop thousands on jewelry, clothes, shoes, cars, etc. Life is too short. If it brings you joy and you can afford it, go for it. :)

+1

Trust me when, there are things that people spend A LOT more money on that makes no sense to me. A classic example is shoes. I have friends that spend thousands on a pair of rare jordans or women that I know that dont hessitate to drop a G on a pair of pumps...
