Sure do, its still kinda in the air but got done building a little led fuge light and with rapidled.coms prices i might have to convert my nano

If your thinking of going dimmable on a fixture that size try stevesleds I used one of his dimming drivers on one of my led setups and it worked great.

Two of his single drivers for 6 white and 6 blue leds and your set. I put the drivers in a project box bolted a fan to it and I was good to go. Been running great for months. Been getting some excellent growth.

Oh and get your fans on ebay if you need one. MUCH cheaper.

Thanks for the info. As of now im just gathering ideas of what i wanna do So far im think of doing 6RB 4CW 2R I think it would be really cool to have all the blue and red leds dimmable with the white as well or just have the white dimmable. Im not too sure though because that would mean two dimmable drivers and the money keeps adding up quickly that way. Maybe non dimmable? But i know i would probably regret it quickly So for now just tossing up ideas

2 reds on a small setup like that might be too much red. Depends on the look you want though. 50/50 White and Blues pretty much equals a 14k Metal halide. That combo you are planning might be very very White.

If your going to only go with 1 dimmer make it the whites.

+1. I just finished a nano tank and i thought i was going to use 2 red but 1 was enough.

well i def like a good amount of blue probably around the 20k range. So maybe like 8 blues 1 red 3 whites i here a lot of people say go 2 blue for every white

Go 5 blues 1 red and 6 whites and make the white's dimmable. Then you can tune in your 20k and not have to worry about par.

that sounds pretty good. As I said im just having ideas left and right with my tank. I should post my tank thread up on this thread so you guys can see it
