WTB 3/4'' barbed "y" fitting

Does anyone have, or know where to get a 3/4'' barbed y fitting? I want to use one return pump to go to 2 returns in the tank using the clear flex hose from the pump to the returns and a barbed t kinks the hoses too much. And is anyone using a check inline of the return? The flap kind looks like it would work well.. Thanks!!

Try Menards. They have a tom of Grey Sch 80 fittings. They may just have what you need.

add a 45 to the T and that should give you close to a Y

Don't rely on a check valve, its not if they will fail its when. Better to drill anti siphon holes and have enough room in your sump to handle the drain back in the case of a power loss. You also might try Savko for fittings.

Thanks guys, now I have some options! The sump will hold the water in a power outage, but the skimmer overfoams like crazy when everything starts back up with high water level. Looking into hooking it onto a float switch or something that won't let it kick back on with high level. Don't really like the possibility of everything in the skimmer cup ending up in the tank..

Look into a Reefkeeper or Reefkeeper Lite when you have the funds. You can program it to delay the skimmer after a power outage. Plus it is a great way to control you heaters, pumps and lights.

When I feed or do water changes I can switch to standby mode to stop all pumps. When it restarts the skimmer is the last to start to eliminate the issue you are having.

EDIT: There are also other brands but I am only familiar with the Reefkeeper line.

plus cheap check valves restrict alot of flow! they do make quality check valves that work differently and dont restrict the flow as much. Still after using kalk for years they will get stuck open. I have a 1" check that I will never use if your interested.

Thanks guys! I'm not going to use a check valve in the line. I have an AcJr. and am going to check into if it has a delay start setting that I can use on the skimmer. Oh, and Tim your mailbox is full, I tried to send a pm!

i found it when I was doing mu build. They have allot of unusual stuff. I like their manifolds, etc. Their prices are nice, but if you are not buying a bunch, you spend the savings in shipping.
