Looking for something around this size, reef ready. Sick and tired of my HOB overflow and no nerve to drill my old (read "unknown glass type) tank. Anyone have something? Awhile back somebody here had a 58g for sale, but I'll assume its gone already. TIA!

i know oceanic makes one, and AGA makes a similar one that's taller. they're not too expensive at the LFS...

In a few weeks, I will be moving my stuff into a new tank and will have a tank available, with stand and canopy. It is a littel beat up but I'd let it go for like $50, with a sump if you wanted it. Reef ready, acrylic with minor scratched and DIY stand/canopy. Finish is water damaged, but you could paint it black. Would let it go for some frags to. There is a pic in my gallery from when it looked nice, before it was finished.

if you buy new, I know that the Oceanics are about $400 for tank alone.

$250ish for AGA branded tanks in the same size

I bought the AGA RR 65 gal tall tank (36"X18"X24") from a LFS. I bought the Tank and Stand for around 450.

What are the dimensions? Understand dimensions as well please? interested.

I'll look at the dimensions tonight, but it is a 50 gal tru-vu with a center DIY overflow with (3) holes in it. I think it is 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4". Under the tank is pretty much the same dimensions minus 1 1/2" for the framing. Stand and canopy are really strong, 3/4" ply (birch). Removed the hinge for the top, so that would need to be replaced. There is a switch plate on the side with (4) switches I think, but most of the electrical inside is removed. I could put something back in if you needed, but I would need to recover materials. I have some of the plumbing still like the duruso, etc. There are holes to install (2) sea swirls, that I have if you would be interested in them as well.

Anybody have the AGA or Oceanic part number for the 58g RR tank? Most places online do not even list a 58g tank... it's not a custom order, is it? I was under the impression they are pretty common.

you'll want to look into local fish stores for the 58g RR. I know that All About Fish in pleasant hill has one from Oceanic.
