is shelton too far for ya? I have a piece thats about 3" and i think its monti digi but i am not definate. It came from a friends tank and wasnt looking so hot in there, and it grew all it's polyps out in my tank the past 2 weeks but i just dont really like it too much... Its got orange/brown/deep red color polyps. You can come by after 7 tonight if you want it it's all yours. Shoot me a text at 203-767-4001 if your interested, and i can send ya a pic.

It would be a ride for you to get to my place but I have a nice piece of orange Monti cap around 3" that I'm trying to get rid of. Its currently on a frag plug that its encrusting over. I already have a few pieces of this cap in my tank and don't want or need the third so if you want it come and grab it for free.

"easy" sps? even monti's are a little demanding...look for birds nest though too, they tend to grow like weeds.

If you want "easy" corals, stick with LPS or softies though, just my .02

I already have several sps which are doing well, not exact on all names but, cats law, blue milli, purple cap, nuke green thing, something that looks like a birds nest a panova, and sunset monti. I say easy because I got those after finding out they were easier to keep from other hobbiest. I'm just trying to avoid the harder ones as I don't wish to risk it. I should have been more clear.

I believe it! I've had smooth sailing since January when I nuked my tank with wrong silicone. Did get some pluses from it. Learned to be a lot more careful, moved tank across the room, and my patients level increased 10 fold. Somethin about basically starting over and wasting a lot of money by not doing a simple google search really opened my eyes.
