WTB Glass Shrimps

Let me know if you have any you want to part with. Reliable online sellers are few and far between for these and most are miss-IDd (many species ship poorly to boot.)

Looking for most species except P. yucatanicus (ie jerk shrimp)

Are they the clear ones for feeders?

I got one from reef culture, should have know. Better I would never see him in my 180. Could be alive or dead, don't know. He was cool for the first 15 minutes.

If I recall P. yucatanicus is an anemone shrimp. I've actually been trying to learn more about them to see if they would be compatible with my sexy shrimp or if they would fight. In theory if you have an anemone, even a maxi mini, they should bond with it and because of this be visible in your tank and fun to watch.

This is the one I am thinking you are referring to...so I may be thinking of a different shrimp than you are.

You are right, that's the Yucatan. He gets along fine with 2 sexy shrimp in a 5g - but steals food and nips at ricordea skirts if not fed frequently.

I'm looking specifically for any other species of Periclimenes - they are all small clear shrimp, the majority of which host anemones or corralimorphs. Some of them exhibit "clapping" behavior, some hover in the water current, some eat anemone mucus. They are all awesome, but hard to find locally.

Very hard to find. I've only seen them once and that was at a time I wasn't ready to keep one. I would like to get my hands on at least a pair of them.
