WTB: light

Hey guys. I am looking for a light. I have a ten gallon that will only house softies and mushrooms and the like. I would really like to score one of those 70 watt Vipers, but I could really use anything. PC, T-5, I don't really care as long as I can grow zoas and shrooms in a ten gallon. My biggest problem is the space between my tank and the "hood". My tank sits on my counter under a set of cabinets, so I have only about 8" to the bottom of the cabinet from tank's top. Any suggestions will help.

I dnt have a spare one , but corallife makes a 96 watt pc that would be perfect for that set up. I got one online a few years ago for around $100. I hope this helps,

Yeah, I am trying to avoid ordering online stuff. The LFS tried to sell me that thing for a smoking deal at $150 which he said was discounted from $199. LOL at that junk.

You will get it online much cheaper tho. Try Hellolights.com and check out there 70w retros. I think there havin a sale right now also.

i have a used 72 watt pc fixture i can sell. i used to have it on a 10 gal. grew the heck out of ricordia , and clams.

Do you have a pic? What brand? It is kind of exactly what I "should" get. The viper is just a hope. Let me know the details and dimensions and we can most def work a deal on that light.
