I'm in the process of remodeling my 180 reef that's about 7 years old and reducing the bed in the process. Although I'm only about halfway done, I've got about a half a cubic foot (probably 15 - 20+ lbs ... right now is filling a 13x18 cube 4" deep) of mixed substrate consisting of aragonite sand and various beach mixes. Size of the particles ranges from 1/8" to 3/8" and it was used as the base layer over which the finer surface substrate was laid. I'm in the Lafayette area but might be able to meet you at a BART station or some other place (or at the swap weekend after next). You can have all for $20 or I'm also open to trades if you're interested.
