I actually sent the guy 2 pm's. And Colin you did convert me  After seeing your tank it made me want to change my 20 callon into a 24 gallon nano. The 12 gallon is for some dart frogs, I want a enclosed tank so I can run a mister into it.
DragonFish thanks for the offer, I may (if he get's back to me lol) take you up on it.
You can get a NanoCube 12 for $79.95 (No Hood, just the tank)
They have a hood for sale for $24.99 (Under Clearance)
- Includes Reflector
- Stock 60mm Fans
- Remote Disconnects
- No Splashguard
- No Bulbs
It wouldn't have any lights or a ballast, do you have a special light for the dart frogs that you could mount in the hood?
They also have brand new 24 gallon Nano Cubes for $209.95, stand is an extra $90.00 but that is cheaper than what I paid for my new one.
I am actually not going to replace my bulbs on my cube, I am going to have these guys build a new hood with new lights. I trashed mine when I did the moonlight fix and installed the chiller.
You can actually DIY the ballasts super cheap. You know those screw in PC bulbs they make for your house? They have built in ballasts. You can get a 4 pack of the 26 watt house versions for like $15.00 and remove the ballasts. Then just retro them into the replacement hood.
Just an FYI, I believe I saw one of those stock 24 gallon nano cubes on clearance at Aquatics Unlimited (I think that's the name. The one on 108th w/ expensive fish ).
