WTB New Life Spectrum Probiotix

Anyone know of any local fish stores that stock NLS probiotix (regular sized pellets). I've seen some reefers have success feeding it. It's supposed to have phosphate eating bacteria that works in the gut and also gets in the water column; combined with fish pooping less equals cleaner water.

Sounds like snake oil. Did they do any actual scientific experiments to prove any of the claims?

A lot of probiotic products are indeed snake oil, but this one has fairly good anecdotal results. Perhaps someone with a microscope could verify it has around 3000 bacteria per gram

Update: I found a freshwater fish store that sold it, but it had a 200% makeup, so I ended up buying it online. I'll post an update with results soon.
