WTB Oak Finish 180g Stand and or Canopy

We picked up a 180 gallon tank to go in the new house (we are hoping to write an offer this week and close in a month and a half).

We are looking for a stand (72" x 24" tank footprint) and a tall canopy (~18" height) in an Oak finish (preferably).

so my dad built the stand that I use.... anyways, I got a new tank and it sooo happens to be another product of a stand and canopy that he built but it is for a 125


what I am getting at is that he used two bathroom vanity cabnits .... fastened them togather and reinforced them .... they were unfinished from Mernards....Then built the canopy...

I could check with him and see if he wants to do it again, I know the last one costs him about 400 bucks just in wood and cabnits ....and took about 2 months working on it after work and other free time... but now he is retired sooo it might give him something to do. Let me know if you want to see my new one that he made.

That is an interesting idea.
We are going to be running some errands today and may be in your area.
We would love to come by and check it out.
At this point time is somewhat of an issue.
Depending on how the house offer/closing goes (assuming we can get this house) we may need it within 2 months or less.

Since he is retired this may work out.

The cheapo Pine stand w\Oak finish at Jack's is $350, but that does not include the Canopy.

When i was shopping arouns for my stands Phishy Business was the cheapest hands down. ALOT cheaper than Jacks was...

Thanks Joe, I sent him a PM, but he said it was going to the trash on 3/24. Hopefully he did not follow though on that.

Shark Keeper, if you are already building a stand, would it be possible to build a second one too?
I have some tools and am handy, but don't have space right now to do any construction projects of this size.
I would be willing to pay for it assuming it was a fair price.
Being a Construction Manager I figure you have access to some good equipment and space to do this.

I did not see any stands at Phishy, but I had not asked what they can order yet either.
